HERO CHALLENGE

HERO redefines indoor obstacle racing competition, taking inspiration from the best elements of world races. Developed to challenge participants’ physical and mental endurance, our competition combines dynamic runs with functional exercises. Each athlete starts on the bikeerg, completing 2000m before facing varying challenges at stations that test strength, endurance and agility. This approach provides an intense and exciting experience for athletes of all levels, promoting health, fitness and community spirit. This event is open to individuals of all ages and offers male, female and mixed competition categories. Join us to over-come limits and reach new levels of physical and mental performance.

THE COMPETITION

2000m Bike erg – The challenge begins with cardiovascular but also muscular predominance, mainly in terms of leg muscles – quadriceps, hamstrings, glutes and calves. At the end an 800 m run.

60m ( 6 x 10m ) Dead Ball Bear Crawl – dragging a heavy ball repeatedly over the intended distance. Very complete exercise for cardio, core and arms. At the end, an 800 m run.

1000m Ski erg – Intense and complete cardiovascular exercise that challenges the upper muscle groups – mainly back, shoulders and triceps but also the lower body muscles. At the end an 800 m run.
60m ( 6 x 10m ) Drag an loaded sled backwards, with the help of a tope with handles. It mainly works the muscles of the legs, back and core. At the end an 800 m run. 150 kg for Double Men & Double mix, 110kg for Double Women.

200m Sandbag carry – It stresses the cardiovascular system due to the force that the bag exerts against our chest through the contraction of the muscles of the back, shoulders, arms and core. At the end an 800 m run.
50 kg for Double Men & Double mix, 30kg for Double Women.

1000m Row erg – Static indoor rowing exercise. The main muscles required are those of the back, arms, shoulders, legs and abdomen. At the end an 800 m run.

The athlete carries the dumbbell at chest level (goblet position) during 100m of alternating lunges. This movement primarily targets the quads, glutes, hamstrings, core, and shoulders.

50 Lateral burpees over bar – Lateral burpees on the bar with jumping or passing throw alternate feet. The last breath before the much desired goal – Finish line!
